It’s completely normal to feel a little nervous before your first scuba dive. Our instructors take time to explain the equipment, breathing techniques and basic safety skills before entering the water. The first part of the dive is always conducted slowly in shallow water so you can become comfortable breathing underwater and moving at your own pace.
Many people arrive feeling unsure but quickly relax once they realise how calm and controlled scuba diving can be.
