Kai has been diving since 2006 and teaching scuba diving since 2013. Originally from Singapore, he moved to Bali in 2014 and has spent the years since building his career around diving, education and professional development.

In 2019, Kai became a PADI Course Director, allowing him to train divers at every stage, from their first experience underwater through to Divemaster and Instructor level. With more than 15,000 dives and experience across recreational, professional and commercial diving, he brings a broad perspective to every course he teaches.

Kai believes good diving is about more than collecting certifications. His approach combines high professional standards with a relaxed, personal training environment where divers can build genuine confidence, develop good habits and enjoy the experience along the way.

Affectionately known as G, our resident technical dive instructor is responsible for planning and executing meaningful mesophotic projects in a safe and efficient manner. Working closely with local and regional technical dive instructors, G's network of tekies enables divers to pursue various technical dive objectives with diverse needs. First and foremost, G is facilitator and takes great pride in it.

​Mad about anything science, he works closely with partners to spearhead both personal endeavours and CSR projects that enables young minds to make a difference. Currently, leading the 360 Underwater VR project, he aims to bring the underwater world to students around the world who may not have ready access to the oceans.

Lily Attias is one of the most passionate young persons pursing conservation education. A firm believer in data science and the righteous collection of clean marine data, Lily has spent much of her time mapping reefs in remote parts of the world. Now based in Bali, she is aiding young people achieve their marine education pursuits by customizing programs that empower individuals with the tools and skills needed for their endeavors. 

Lily is amongst the youngest tek divers around the world pursuing coral data in the mesophotic zone. Her love for corals, marine species and the ocean in general, continues to define her highly calibrated goals and missions.

Doudou is the to our Tek family. Formerly a school teacher in China, Doudou demonstrates patience and goes the extra mile for her students. Multilingual, she ensures divers' needs are her top priority. While many divers pursue certifications, her focus on training means students are enabled beyond ticking the boxes. 

​Highly diligent, Doudou's key strength is her genuine servitude towards her guests and students. Doudou with her bubbly personality, brings smiles to her team, friends and students.

Nineke first joined Dive Culture as a marketing intern, bringing fresh ideas and a creative approach to social media and content creation. Her passion, initiative, and dedication quickly made her an invaluable part of the team.

Today, Nineke oversees Dive Culture's marketing operations, managing future marketing interns while coordinating bookings and day-to-day administration to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. She combines creativity with strong organizational skills, helping the team connect with the next generation of divers through engaging content and effective communication.

As an avid diver herself, Nineke understands the experiences our guests are looking for both above and below the surface. Her passion for diving, marketing, and building a welcoming community makes her an essential part of the Dive Culture family.

Ogi is a passionate Divemaster at Dive Culture Bali who began his diving journey in 2023 and quickly turned his passion into a professional career.

For Ogi, diving is more than just a job, it's a way of life. His enthusiasm for the underwater world is reflected in every dive he leads, where safety, professionalism, and creating unforgettable experiences are always his top priorities.

One of the things Ogi enjoys most is helping divers build their confidence and develop their skills underwater. Whether you're taking your very first breaths beneath the surface or you're an experienced diver looking to refine your technique, he'll provide patient guidance, encouragement, and support throughout every dive.

With his positive energy, genuine passion, and commitment to exceptional service, Ogi is dedicated to making every underwater adventure safe, enjoyable, and memorable.

Made is a passionate Divemaster who began his professional diving career in 2023. After gaining his initial experience at another dive centre in Bali, he joined Dive Culture to broaden his experience and challenge himself in a more dynamic and international diving environment.

At Dive Culture, he enjoys working with divers from different backgrounds and learning from every dive, while continuing to develop his skills as a professional diver. He brings a calm and friendly attitude to the team, with a genuine enthusiasm for sharing the underwater world with our guests.

Always looking to grow, Made sees every dive as an opportunity to learn something new, meet new people, and become a better diver. Whether guiding experienced divers or helping guests discover Bali's underwater world for the first time, he is committed to making every dive safe, enjoyable, and memorable.
